Agressive email marketing

Today I was getting frustrated that I received another email from le20wins.com on my webmaster@ adresses for some domains that I manage.

They are clearly not sending spam: they send from their own domain, aren’t spoofing their from address, have an unsubscribe so it somehow looks good. They promote wines and other very delicious drinks for the end of the year and it seems that they have plenty of stock that they want to get rid off. The sooner the better I think. I’ve used the unsubscribe link a few times now but still they comes rolling in at least once a week.

Since they are so aggressive in their marketing I’ve taken some global counter measures against them. If I have a problem to get the unsubscribe work other people will have too. And if they push the send too often they could end up in the box of the spammers.

  1. Yes, I agree on this point. I’ve had couple of emails marketing in my junk filter. They even no telling how to get unsubscribed. I made reports of phishing emails but they keep on coming to my junk filter..
